Dale Shillington Memorial Scholarship

(Free State High School)

The scholarship was started in memory of Dale Shillington, by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Allen and Paige Moore. Dale passed away in 2016. Dale was a member of the Free State class of 2009 and excelled in soccer and golf through perseverance and the dedication to out work and out hustle everyone. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and was commissioned in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot. He was recognized as the top instructor pilot in 2015. 

Criteria:

Minimum grade-point average of 2.5

Involvement in school activities

Involvement in community activities

Plan to attend any four-year college or university

Involved in athletics and planning to serve our country
