2018-19 will be my first year teaching at Lawrence High. I previously taught at McLouth High School and before that, Tonganoxie High School. I have a degree in Secondary Education and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Kansas, where I also taught a number of undergraduate courses. This school year I am teaching English 9, Contemporary Literature, and AP Language and Composition.

Though I grew up in Baldwin, KS, I have always viewed of Lawrence as the place I wanted to grow up and raise a family in. That has worked out well so far - I have two children and a wife (and a bunch of in-laws) that bleed LHS Red and Black. It's great to finally be a Chesty Lion!
