Ms. Melissa is the music teacher for the Montessori classrooms at New York Elementary as well as a music therapist district-wide. She believes that all children deserve access to quality music experiences that contribute to a life-long appreciation for the arts. Melissa incorporates cross-curricular concepts within high-energy experiences in creative movement, instrument exploration, group singing, music-enhanced books, and music activities that support social-emotional learning. She is always eager to engage with families and share materials for musicking together at home.
